In response to your feedback please find herewith some points which we hope and trust will lead to a reconsideration of your idea that our app does not provide sufficient content and functionality.

Rich content: close to 400 lemmas.

As the app is for Dutch speaking managers all content is in Dutch which makes it understandably hard for you to see the value it brings.

Therefore please find attached a pdf with a (rough) translation of some lemmas in English to support your appreciation of the content.

Also attached is a PDF of all the Dutch lemmas that are contained within the app, not less than 378 in total.

Designed to add value
These lemma’s are designed to guide busy managers through the busy maze of their working days while encouraging contemplation on the value their decisions will bring to the business results, but also – and at least equally important – the value they provide for the job satisfaction and development of their team members as well as the quality of team interactions.

The underlying principle of the messages conveyed in the lemma’s creates an atmosphere of trust in team members and in one’s own abilities to navigate through challenging business situations.

The lemmas invite the user to access their inner wisdom, or facilitate a broader view that enables more constructive actions than the default ones, specifically in stressful situations.

Functionality: three intuitive methods to access the right information at the right moment

The functionality of the app is based on synchronicity and the working of the app is uniquely suited for this method of divination.

The Personal Coach for the Manager app provides three easy methods to access the lemma that synchronistically (the Jungian notion of "meaningful coincidences"’) is most applicable to the situation or question of the manager turning to the app at a specific moment to access consultation, or to contemplate a larger exploration question that s/he is dealing with.

The first method is to simply tap on the main blanc sphere in the screen, which leads directly to a randomly (synchronistic) generated lemma which sheds light on the question at hand.

The second method for a manager to get instant coaching on a situation is to tap one of the randomly appearing numbers (each time you open the app there are different numbers) that attract your attention the most at that moment. It will lead the user to the corresponding lemma with advice or coaching.

The third method is typing in the number of one’s choice in the input field that pops up when the user choices this option. This facilitates the ability to access the lemma with the number that stands out for the user at that moment. The number of a specific page in a book, a number derived from the current clock time, a number of one’s licence plate (or that of one’s boss), etc.

Proven quality of coaching
The content (all lemma’s) was written by a Dutch author of (among others) business books who has had a (consciousness) coaching practice himself and was published earlier as a book (Handorakel voor de manager) which received very positive feedback (“An important book”) from for instance HR directors of multinational firms (ROCKWOOL) as well as from seasoned coaches (for instance Henk Tolhuizen from Outstenders): “Exquisite questions that inspire constructive and out-of-the box thinking”.

Given these characteristics we would like to ask you to please reconsider your decision and allow the app Personal Coach voor de manager (Pocket Coach) to be added to the Appstore.

PS As you will have noticed we intend to offer the app for free and without advertisements. Also no permissions have to be granted by the phone owner.

This because we genuinely believe that better management (i.e. more mindful and conscious managers) create a better working environment for everybody and with that contributes to a better and more friendly world.

Ultimately that is the reason why we as a team have put in such an effort to design and develop this meaningful app.
